Congrats on taking the next step in learning how to dance! Dance is a great form of exercise, is a social activity, excellent for creating strength and balance in the body, stimulates the mind, and most of all is fun!

I have been teaching ballroom since 1993 and am a NDCA and NADTA Professional certified as Highly Commended by the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (USISTD). I formerly competed in 9 dance American Style and continue to do performances with Marty Voight and Anton Karadhzov. My specialty is introducing beginning students to ballroom dance and am available for private and group lessons. I regularly teach American and International styles for East Towne Ballrooms as well as community centers and groups in the Madison and Milwaukee area. I also serve as the Administrative Assistant for East Towne Ballrooms and is the webmaster for their website.

I also continue to take lessons and coaching on a weekly basis and have always believed one should never stop learning. So I have made it a point to continue my learning and stay on top of the current trends and techniques.

My specialty is working with beginning students and I enjoy the newness that they bring to dance. The feelings of uncertainty turn to those moments when things start to click and it becomes easy. It's a very exciting time to watch the world open up before them.

Most of my teaching is done through East Towne Ballrooms and area community centers and groups but I am also available for private and group lessons that you may want to set up for your own event. Please feel free to contact me for more details!
